I was asked once: Why do you use such difficult techniques and processes in your work? Life is filigree and complex. There is more than black and white. My imagery emerges when I look through paper against the light. White dots on the drawings are holes drawn by the waterjet. Light passes through the white paper which seems to be grey in contre-jour.
