Autumn Colours

Public garden "Lustgarten Kunstpfad"

The cranes are heading south.

Our garden sponsors Karin and Günther Paul brought us a boot full of cuttings from their beautiful garden in Edertal-Wellen, including muscatel sage, candelabra verbena and cordial or lion's tail.

In the Musée du désert , HESSEN is written on a bar as a land of refuge for the persecuted.

Not only Muriel from St. Jean du Gard and our garden godfather are descended from the Huguenots, but also our light cherry from Die an der Drôme is an offshoot from the garden of the Huguenot barn in Louisendorf (part of the garden route Eder-Lahn - Diemel).

Admiral Butterfly by the Window

Asters - smoldering days, old incantation, spell. A touch of devine holds the scales for a lingering hour's standstill.

The skies, the light, flow'ry hood, again herds of gold it brings. …The summer, leaning tired, watches the swallows fly.

Gottfried Benn (transl. by A. W. Tüting)
