Pomegranate drawn by water jet

Where light and watermarks touch, relationships between inside and outside, surface and depth become visible.

A hand encloses a pomegranate drawn with a water jet into handmade paper. The red cover is made for a unique book from the imaginary library for the clairvoyant Cassandra. An eye in the centre - look on the artist's book page under Female View ‘Hell sehen gegen Licht’!

This year I was invited with my edition, ‘The Glass Dragonfly’,

to five artists’ books fairs, artbooknord.berlin, Buchdruckkunst Hamburg,

‘Hot Printing’ Klingspor Museum Offenbach, artbook.berlin and the

15. Frauenfelder Buch- and Druckkunst in Switzerland.

The Museum in Neukirchen-Vluyn included a body of my threads’ and

fibers’ works into its exhibition ‘Flaxen and hairy’.

My light-watermarks (Papier Matière) are on permanent display

in the Museum Haus des Papiers in Berlin;

they took my work on the ‘Paper Positions Berlin’.

The communicative art projects require special effort.

In autumn I could realize a ‘Märchenwald’ Project

with Ukrainian pupils in Kassel.

On behalf of Diemelstadt I started with reliefs.

For this, 50 children immortalize themselves during the winter

on copper plates, whose drawings will be etched in relief and

attached on the city wall in the centre of Rhoden.
